With winning charm, the "Wiener Johann Strauss Konzert-Gala" exudes vitality and zest for life. Entrancing melodies from the almost inexhaustible oeuvre of the Strauss dynasty promise a glimpse of the most seductive side of Austrian culture - such as the "Artist's Life", "Epigrams" and "Roses from the South" waltzes; the "Heart's Content", "Light of Heart" and "Fireproof" polkas; gems such as "Traumbilder", the "Artists' Quadrille", the "Egyptian March" and the overture to the operetta "The Gypsy Baron" - to say nothing of the obligatory toppings on the cake: the "Blue Danube" and the "Radetzky March".

European tour from 22 December to 4 March 2015 with concerts in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Ukraine, Luxemburg, France, Italy, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Estonia and Finland.

What's more, Viktor Litvinov (of the Kiev State Opera Theatre) deploys his imaginative choreography, lending humour and nostalgia to vignettes performed by the Österreichische K&K Ballett – co-founded by the unforgettable Gerlinde Dill, the shaping influence on the troupe, and creator of the ballet scenes for the famous Viennese New Year’s concerts for over 20 years. Viennese conductors Martin Kerschbaum and Georg Kugi take up the baton, alternating with Matthias Georg Kendlinger himself and, for the first time, Taras Lenko* - inimitable K&K!
